Since 1992, The Modern Brass has been one of the foremost proponents of brass chamber music in Los Angeles.  With a stalwart dedication to the performance of serious repertoire for brass, the group has featured some of Los Angeles's most venerated performing musicians. Using a quintet as its core, the Modern Brass presents concerts and ensembles that expand and contract as programs demand, featuring both premiere members of the Los Angeles brass community, world-famous guest soloists, and presenting a compelling array of brass concert music from the classics to the most cutting edge.
